United Reformed Church, Cross Street, Seaton
We are in immediate need of a musician to play on a regular basis at our 10.30am services on Sundays.
Our pipe organ has been regularly well maintained and is much appreciated by the congregation, we also have a Bechstein and a Yamaha Clavinova.
This is a paid position (remuneration will cover travel costs). Please contact Helen Collier on 01297 21594 for details.
Mrs A Carney tells us about the work of ‘The Salvation Army’ on March 13th, ‘A Pensioner’s Adventure on the Amazon’ is on March 20th by Mrs J West, March 27th is ‘A Medieval Watermill Landscape’ by Mr J Kenwood and we can hear ‘News from Uganda’ on April 3rd by Miss R Giles. The spring outing on April 10th is to Tiverton and a trip on the horse drawn canal barge. Our season ends with an Easter Fayre on April 17th.
This meets on the first Monday of the month at 2:30pm at 28 Seaton Down Road.
Last evening’s service was very well supported by many of the townsfolk in spite of the inhospitable weather. Our thanks go especially to Joyce and John for setting the candles so tastefully and with such effect.
We wish you all a joyous and peaceful Christmas.
